Originally announced in late 2021 by Director Tulus Hutabarat, this decision was a direct and practical response to the evolving global situation. “The relocation allows us to control our environment and better protect our people,” stated Hutabarat, framing the move as an essential step for business continuity.

A core feature of the new premises is a dedicated, well-ventilated training and briefing complex. This facility allows SAGAS to conduct essential internal trainings and monthly commandant briefings in a secure, controlled setting—significantly reducing health risks compared to public venues and simplifying contact tracing efforts. This investment underscored our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of personnel readiness, even amidst external challenges.

The relocation coincided with the government’s transition to a ‘Living With The Virus’ policy. The new office was intentionally designed with this future in mind, featuring ‘post-COVID friendly’ workspaces that balance collaboration with prudent precautionary measures.
